Brazil has many attractions and tourist attractions. Attractions include the Amazon, known for its beauty and diversity of nature and animals, the Maracana Stadium, home to the World Cup Final 2014, the Sambodromo where samba dance groups parade through yearly during the Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro, Cristo Redentor and Sugarloaf Mountain in Rio de Janeiro are a must see. The Amazon of Brazil, also known as the Legal Amazon "Amazonia Legal" is the biggest region of Brazil. It contains the Amazon Basin. The Amazon has vast wilderness areas of tropical vegetation, such as rainforests. There is a low population density within the region and recent strict conservation rules have been put into place by the Brazilian government to preserve this unique region.

Brazil has abundant beaches, the most famous being in Rio de Janeiro, including Copacabana Beach, Ipanema and Leblon, however many other beautiful beaches are known such as in Praia Grande, Santos, Sao Vincente and more.

Carnaval, which is the Brazilian Carnival, is a yearly festival held for four days before Ash Wednesday in Brazil. Carnaval is boosted as the best party in the world, and if you attend it, you will know why. Millions flock to Rio de Janeiro to witness the samba schools as they compete, but also to party with the people attending. It is a festival of costumes, rhythm and people participating in the dance. The Carnaval is most well-known in Rio, but happens almost everywhere in Brazil, but with a different flavor.

Copacabana Beach

Copacabana beach is found within the borough of Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Copacabana is located in the south portion of Rio de Janeiro, with Copacabana Beach forming a 4 km beach at its end. There are approximately 63 hotels and 10 hostels within Copacabana, the most famous being Copacabana Palace, which many celebrities can be found at throughout the year. A one night stay there can go for around $500 US minimum.
Copacabana beach is famous for its beautiful people, volleyball matches and Potuguese pavement wave pattern. During Carnival and New Year's Eve, the beach is packed with party goers and tourists, as well as locals.

Cristo Redentor

Cristo Redentor

Images and pictures from the famous 706 metre Corcovado mountain, named after its hunchback appearance, on which its summit is the iconic Cristo Redentor statue, Christ the Redeemer. Cristo Redentor can been see throughout the city of Rio de Janeiro as it towers over the city. Cristo Redentor is the most well known landmark of Brasil and was created in 1931 to mark the centenary of Brasil's independence. The statue is surrounding by the Parque Nacional da Tijuca.
